Grow your understanding of psychedelics and the psychedelic experience.

There is a growing need for common ground understanding and a shared language around psychedelics.

Cultivating Interests is a membership-based, online platform that explores the what, why, and how of psychedelics and the psychedelic experience. Our accessible programming cultivates understanding for novices and psychedelic facilitators alike. We also simplify microdosing psilocybin and cultivation for beginners, but our curriculum emphasizes the “why” of each step as well.

As a member of the Cultivating Interests community, you will attain:

  • A destigmatized understanding of the psychedelic experience and tools for psychedelic integration. This is the cornerstone of Cultivating Interests. We make the psychedelic experience relatable with comparisons to other life experiences that overlap with the psychedelic experience. A common ground understanding around psychedelics is invaluable for the curious, those with years of psychedelic experience, and those interested in psychedelic integration.

  • A common language around psychedelics. Using a common ground understanding of the psychedelic experience, we build a set of tools for effectively communicating about psychedelics with just about anyone. This is particularly invaluable to psychedelic practitioners, facilitators, and policy reform campaigns looking to improve their messaging around psychedelics and their potential benefits.

  • Everything you need to know about microdosing psilocybin. From how to approach microdosing to common pitfalls, we teach you how to implement a practice that is right for you (and it truly is a practice).

  • Everything you need to know about at-home cultivation (safe and rewarding sourcing). Learn how to cultivate mushrooms using a well-established method, but we also teach you enough about the life cycle and requirements of fungi so you can troubleshoot issues and adaptively manage the process.

Cultivating Interests is ideal for:

  • Anyone seeking a practical understanding of psychedelics.

  • Psychedelic Service Centers, Facilitators, and Training Programs.

  • Psychedelic policy reform campaigns and rescheduling efforts.

  • Personal Transformation industry, including transformation travel businesses and retreats.

  • Doctors, nurses, and PAs seeking a better understanding and better communication around psychedelics.

  • Continuing education and adjunct instruction for academic programs.

The Cultivating Interests membership platform is founded on:

  1. Cultivating Understanding

  2. Cultivating Self (Microdosing Psilocybin)

  3. Cultivating the Means (Cultivation for Beginners)

Cultivating Self

Let nature work for you. Cultivating Self explores microdosing psilocybin and structuring a microdosing practice that is right for you. Microdosing information exists in several formats, but Cultivating Self is framed by the Cultivating Understanding module and the 25+ years of microdosing experience from your instructor, Daniel Covington. Cultivating Self examines the nuances of a microdosing practice and how to personalize your practice for the maximum benefit. Most importantly Cultivating Self explores the potential pitfalls and precautions to consider for your practice. Read more…

Cultivating the Means

Learn to be fruitful, and learn from the fruit. Cultivating the Means will teach you how to cultivate a personal supply of mushrooms using a well-established method for beginners. However, this module will focus less on the “what” and more on the “why” of each step and the underlying principles. Cultivating the Means will review the habitat requirements of fungi and enable participants to troubleshoot issues with workflow and fruiting conditions. Read more…
